Jen composed this simple track ‘Isar OM’ way back in 2006 (an oldie!) to support a deep and restorative savasana (corpse pose). It is a recording of the gurgling Isar, the river that runs through Munich. The gradually slowing repetition of a kirtan OM (Sharon Gannon & Petros Haffenrichter 2005) 54 times over about 9 minutes drags the heart rate down with the help of computer-generated tabla beats. If you are not blessed with particularly peaceful practice surroundings or need some extra help letting go, consider giving this a try. Stay tuned for more audio (chanting and classes) in the near future!
