Private Yoga Lessons

Private lessons are by far my favorite way to teach yoga!  Personal dialogues and connections with my teachers have been some of the most profound and life-changing moments in my life, and there is no substitute for what can emerge when the tensions and distractions of a group setting are removed and sustained attention and presence can be allowed to unfurl and rest wherever they are most needed.

Online lessons actually work very well!  All you need is Skype, Zoom, FaceTime, Facebook or G-chat, all free and easy to set up and use either from your computer, tablet or phone.

Choose to use your session to explore any number of specific themes or to be guided through a sequence based on what you hope to gain from your practice.  Whether you are new to a movement practice or a seasoned practitioner or teacher, we will start right where you are.  I have listed a number of possibilities below, but if you have something else in mind or choice seems overwhelming, let’s discuss, and I’m happy to make suggestions.  I feel well-prepared to address any of the following:

In addition to having practiced and taught yoga around the world since 2003, I am also a registered psychotherapist, former neuroscientist, and shamanic practitioner with personal experience working through my own trauma and chronic illness over the past decade, so there are many directions a session could take, depending upon what your goals are.  Looking forward to exploring with you 🙂
